Tarte for True Blood Palette

I finally got my palette after waiting out the long weekend for it to get here. I am so glad I picked this up usually I will really really want a palette but wont get it in time or forget about it so I'm super excited I picked this one up, I might even order another before they are all gone because I like it so much. The shadows are super blend-able and pigmented. I also like that you get a choice of matte or glitter shadows in this palette its a perfect balance and the colors all really work together to give you that flawless True Blood look! You can do a range of different looks with this palette from natural day to dramatic night.. So far I tried out the Vamp Glam look and I was impressed how well the colors worked together especially the way the color V turned out. Usually burgundy colors make my eyes look small but this did not which was a nice surprise! You can check out all the looks on Tarte's Website - Get the look page it does come with its own copy of these looks but it was just easier to link it instead of put a picture up.  It also comes with deluxe sizes of Tarte's Natural eye primer with firmitol and Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara in black along with a full size Emphaseye aqua gel liner.
I couldn't get a good picture of the tip of the aqua gel eyeliner but it looks just like a normal mechanical kohl tip would however when applying it is gel like with an almost wet feeling I wasn't in love with it and wouldn't buy it again. It did deliver great color I just felt it smudged too much throughout the day and didn't stay on like other liners I use. The natural eye primer with firmitol was just meh as well, it worked well enough but as the day went on I felt like it made my eyelids feel oily. Next time I'll use good old Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden. I liked the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara well enough and didn't have any major issues with it but again I will probably use my MAC False Lashes in the future just because this one can't really compare to my favorites. That could very well be why I'm not a huge fan of those three as well because I really like the products I currently use so I may be a bit stubborn to switch to something new lol.

Overall I loved the eye-shadows & packaging but was a little disappointed with the primer, mascara, and eyeliner. I would buy it again just to have more of those shadows and the super cute box.

Quality:
Shadows 10/10 & Primer, Liner and Mascara 7/10
Overall Rating: 10/10 Simple because the shadows are more than worth it
Would I recommend it: Absolutely! Even tho the other products are just OK I would still highly recommend this palette on the eye shadows alone.
