E.L.F. Minty Lip Gloss in Las Angeles, Seattle, Nashville, and Boston

Hello Beauties! Sorry for the slow blog posting as of late, I thought I was over the cold I picked up but apparently I wasn't and it came back a lot worse the second time around.

I've been using E.L.F. products for awhile and one of the first ones that I ever tried was the Minty Lip Glosses. These little guys are hidden treasures in the E.L.F. line, they retail for $3.00 usd and are awesome. The formula for these is really light, non sticky and non staining. They have pretty good color payoff for lip gloss as well, as you can see in the swatches they show up really well on my super pale skin. The ones that do have glitter go on smooth as well and the glitter does not have a gritty feel to it which is one of the main reasons I like these. These stay on as well as your average lip gloss once they do wear off tho your lips are left looking moisturized.

The taste of these is also really palatable, its not overly minty and has a light sweet mint flavor. I think these are a great dupe for the Bath and Body Works Mentha Lip Gloss Line, they are half the price with a better overall texture and taste.

The only thing I don't like about these are the packaging. It has a doe foot applicator that doesn't have much cushion on it and it tends to wear easily with use. The wand itself is pretty long and unstable feeling as well and if you don't close it just right it tends to leak all over. It seems like you don't get a lot of product in the package but I would say your really getting your moneys worth, I use these all the time and have gotten several uses out of them already and they still have a decent amount of product left inside.

These are some of my favorite lip glosses and I'll continue to use them these one stay in my makeup bag so they are always close at hand no matter where I am. They are great on their own or over top a lipstick for some extra sparkle. If your a big lip gloss fan and are looking for something new that's super affordable these are the ones you should try!
