Boring Goat Soap Lotions Peppermint and Vanilla

Now that I'm done Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping or hopefully I'm done shopping rather, I have some time to get a blog post up! I'll put together a haul post when all that stuff comes in. :)

In case you missed it you can check out my review on two of their soaps here. Now I was a little skeptical about goat milk lotion at first but you never can really judge something until you've tried it, and I'm really glad I did. These lotions are awesome for motorizing my dry over washed hands. On Thanksgiving I was washing my hand so much because I was handling the turkey and one little pump of peppermint lotion was all it took to bring my hands back to being soft and stopping them from feeling like they would crack apart.

A little goes a long way with both of these I find that one pump can moisturize not only my hands but my forearms as well very easily. These are very affordable at $8.00 per bottle for 4oz's I think the fact that it doesn't take a ton of lotion adds to the value of this product. They are both thick and creamy in consistency and absorb quickly into the skin leaving it feeling soft and non greasy. I have honestly never used a lotion that has made my hands feel so soft and non greasy they feel like hands are supposed to feel. I mainly use these on my hands since I keep them at my desk and they are always within reach, I do want to try them out as a body lotion but I keep forgetting to.

As for scents the Peppermint reminds me of those Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies! Its light and not overpowering and on the skin and it does not linger, which I thought was great. I love mint scents but I feel like if this was stronger I wouldn't like it as much, it just the right amount of minty goodness. The Vanilla scent is a very light and true vanilla. The closest scent I can think of to compare this to is the Vanilla Cupcake Yankee Candle scent except this isn't as potent. Again once on the skin it fades and does not leave behind any strong smells.

I think both of these are great and the Peppermint has a very slight cooling sensation that I think would make it great for use as a foot lotion too. The packaging on these is also nice I like the fact that they are in recyclable aluminum bottles instead of your traditional plastic bottle it gives these a very unique look. I would like it if they came out with bigger sizes for the lotion currently the are only available in the 4 oz size. Possible an unscented version too for those who are super sensitive, however I'm not sure how an unscented goat milk lotion would smell.. If it would smell at all?

Overall this company is a keeper they have great prices, great quality products and they actually care about what they are making and how they are serving their customers! You can find the ingredients for both of these lotions below!
