Flying Fox by Lush

As you can see from this picture I was a bad blogger and started using this before I actually got a chance to take pictures... Right now its about at the bottom so good thing I snapped a shot of this when I did. :)
Flying Fox is a shower gel from Lush that is a mix of two main ingredients Honey and Jasmine. I didn't fall in love with this one upon first use it actually took three plus uses for me to really start liking how it smelled. I don't think this scent is for everyone but if your open to trying new and unique scents this is worth trying.

In the bottle I feel like this smells mostly like honey and not much else, once you get it in the shower and add some water it's true scent is revealed with wonderful jasmine notes. Bringing honey and jasmine together is what really makes this shower gel, it is musky yet sensual and floral all at the same time. It's a great winter scent because it just kinda warms you up and lifts your mood.

I have also noticed that this is more moisturizing than other Lush shower gels I've used, I assume it's because it has tons of honey in it which is a good thing in this case. I still lotion afterward but I like that my skin feels soft right out of the shower and not dry.

I'm really happy with this product for me the musky/sensual/floral scent is a big hit but if your hesitant when it comes to scents like these I would caution you to smell it in store first. I order my Lush stuff online so I don't usually smell it before I buy it, so if your like me choose wisely. :)

If your a Lush Junkie you'll be pleased to know that they just put up their Valentine's Day items on the website :) Whoooohooooo I'm not supposed to be buying anything but there are a few things on there that might just make me break me.

Have you tried any Lush Shower Gels?

  2. Flying Fox is my favorite Lush shower gel! The smell is amazing, and I definitely agree that the true scent of it comes out more in the shower than in the bottle.
