Victorian Disco Cosmetics Swatches *Picture Heavy*

*This is going to be super picture heavy so stick with me as we know how much blogger and I don't get along when it comes to lots of pictures.*

If you haven't heard of Victorian Disco by now you should have! In another post I did I reviewed some trial samples she sent me (you can check that out here) and was impressed. This time around I actually won a giveaway she was having and was able to pick out 5 shadows of my choice!!

Super cool of her to do the giveaway and now shes doing another one!! You can get all the details for her latest giveaway here on the company's blog!

Lets start with Pannier, this is from the Rocco Roller Rink collection. This is a deep brown taupe with violet and gold flecks and one of my favorites. This is like no other taupe color you've tried the flecks really make this shadow awesome and create its color depth. It applies smooth with little fall out and lasts all day I like wearing this one alone all over the lid on quick less is more makeup days.

Rini is from the Sailor Scouts collection it is a light baby pink with pink sheen and gold sparkles. It's a lovely shade and swatches nice and smooth with little fallout. I really love light pink peachy shades and knew I was going to have to pick this one up at some point. Alone it is a nice sheer wash of color when primer is added it turns into more of a true light pink shade and the gold flecks give it a nice transition.

Sailor Mars is from the Sailor Scouts collection it is a rusty red with pink sheen and I see a bit of gold in it as well. If you check out the photo on the left you will notice that it has a sifter which is great and I'm pretty sure she's switching her packing to all be like that if I read her FB post right that is. I like the sifter part a lot better it made it easier to get the shadow out and saved more of the product. I have never actually owned a red shadow before but I'm loving this one it has great pigmentation and is really flattering with my pale skin which is no small feat! Pairing it up with Pannier or Tuxedo Mask also makes it look incredible!

Sailor Saturn is from the Sailor Scouts collection and is a bright purple with red undertones and red flecks. Oh how love this purple shadow. Can you say Epic? because that my friends is what this shadow is! Applies smooth and silky and is so richly pigmented. This shadow is absolutely gorgeous and such a stand out color alone or paired up with anything this shadow will change your mind about bright bold looks.

Tuxedo Mask is from the Sailor Scout collection it is a deep reddish black with purple and gold sheen. I think out of all the shadows this one is the most unique it has so much character to it. Looking at it in the pot it looks almost purple but when applied it looks almost brown. I truly appreciate all the hard work that went into discovering this amazing mix of colors. This applies so smoothly and the color really pops and honestly looks good with almost any color.

Here are the swatches of all the shadows. Sorry there are no close ups the boyfriend obviously didn't hear me when I told him I wanted close up shots of each color of swatches... or he did and just pretended he didn't hear... lol Also I purposely made some of the shots above blurry - er to try to pick up some of the flecks and what not in them. It worked out OK but I think I still need to learn a few tricks on his camera.

All of these shadows also apply well wet/damp I don't usually apply mine wet/damp but I did try it the other day and the results were great. In the photo these are swatched over bare skin, UD Primer Potion in Original and NYX Milk.

Important things to know about Victorian Disco Cosmetics:
Facebook Page
Company's Blog

All the shadows Victorian Disco sells are Vegan and each is specifically created, mixed and tested by the Owner Ashley, she never repackages eye shadows. I admire this about her because repackaging is the reason why I have stayed away from certain Indie companies I like that shes transparent and up front about this. She also has great customer service so that makes me like her company even more! You can also find all ingredient listings on each page for the shadow in her Etsy Shop.

If you guys haven't I highly recommend checking out her products. She has shadows in every color of the rainbow uniquely made to be like nothing you have ever seen. Right now you can get 15% off your order until Feb. 15th by using the code VDAY2012.

There is also a range of glitters you can get from Victorian Disco so if your a glittery gal they are worth looking into to. I have seen pictures of some ladies wearing them on her Facebook page and they are phenomenal.

Id also like to thank her for having the giveaway it's a great gesture to her customers so thank you!

Are you going to try Victorian Disco Cosmetics?

*I received these products for free from a giveaway*

    1. Yes they are very affordable keep in mind tho the prices I listed are for the sample baggies so you do not get the jar that I featured for that price. She is now making mini jars that are about $2.00 each tho and those should be available soon!
