Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes

Last week I did a review on the E.L.F. Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths but I know those don't work for everyone so I picked up the Simple Skincare Cleansing Facial Wipes to try out as well.

I actually like these better than the E.L.F ones because they have a softer cloth and leave my skin feeling soft after use. Don't get me wrong for the price point I still like E.L.F. but I would rather have a softer cloth that I can use on the eye area as well. Not sure what the cloth is made of it looks similar to the E.L.F one but it is noticeable softer to me.

This is a great product if you have sensitive skin because the formula is very kind to skin and does not contain any alcohol, perfume, dye, or oil. Along with pro vitamin B5 to help keep skin soft and restored. That is one of the main reasons I've been so drawn to this brand because they use quality ingredients that are good for sensitive skin.

These remove makeup quickly and gently with no greasy after feeling. I have also found that when removing eye makeup if you add just a extra bit of water to the cloth it takes off mascara with little rubbing. I was much more inclined to use these to take off my eye makeup because they don't contain alcohol or perfume, my eyes are really temperamental and flare up red at the slightest thing. I have not had any problem using these around my eyes and I'm pretty impressed with how well they take off layers of eyeshadow.

I use this to take off all my makeup and then follow up with a cleanser (Ocean Salt), because my skin is also picky and I break out if I don't follow up with something stronger. I think if your not prone to break outs and don't need to give your skin that extra kick you could get away with just using the wipes and rinsing your face.

I do wish the packaging on these was a bit better the door is just a sticker and I have found that it looses it's stick quite quickly so I threw mine in a Ziploc baggie to keep them from drying out.

Simple Skincare Cleansing Facial Wipes retail for $5.99 for 25 clothes and can be found online and in stores at Target, Walmart, and Ulta. Even tho the price is higher I would definitely buy these again especially because I can use them to remove eye makeup.

These do contain parabens so if your looking to avoid those these unfortunately would not be an option :(

Have you tried these wipes?

  1. I saw these at the drugstore for something ridiculous like $11 or $12...I was surprised because I thought they were supposed to be inexpensive. I heard Wal-mart is carrying these as well so if I can find them for around $6 I'm going to try them out!

  4. I've been looking for a new makeup remover wipe so I might give this one a try. I always have to cleanse my face with something else after too. Thank you so much for voting for me by the way! It means a lot to me :)

  6. I've never tried the beauty cleansing wipes...just like your review I've read many great comments on this particular product but I know my skin very well and if I tried this I'd still have to wash my face. I just use my clarisonic and it really does take off all the make-up.

  7. I have seen them in stores, but never tried them. I actually don't use wipes to remove makeup. I use a cotton pad for my eyes, and my face just cleanes up with a facial cleanser and the clairisonic.

  8. I actually bought these because I couldn't find the Garnier ones that I normally use and I really don't like them. I feel like they are much rougher than other ones that I have used... And I didn't know they contained parabens either. Cute blog- I am following you now :)

  9. I use the E.L.F wipes right now and like them, but I'm always looking for new things to try and I've heard of the Simple products, so I may have to give these a try!
