OPI Pirates Collection Skull & Glossbones

Here is another Pirates of the Caribbean polish from my collection! This is called Skull & Glossbones a light grey taupe. This is one of my favorite polishes and I'm not quite sure why but maybe because it is just simple. The color is very muted and looks pretty understate on the nails but lovely all the same.

In the photos I have on two coats and it's just the right amount of polish. At first this can be a bit on the thin side while applying but a good second coat fixes that. Drying time is average with a full wait of about 5-6 mins depending on how thick you make your layers. Notice that I didn't smudge these ;)

Now this polish you will only be able to find on blog sales, ebay, and amazon but there is a very close dupe for it. Essie's Playa Del Platinum is very very close to this polish in color with only subtle differences. Playa Del Platinum is a bit more on the beige side and a bit more warm but good news is that you can purchase that at Dermstore!

I also really love the name of this polish I think that is what makes me like it a bit more than any of the others.

Do you have any Pirates Polish Dupes?

  6. It's such a great greyish nude (my colour naming is AWFUL!) and it'd look great on pale people, most nudes are far too brown and dark :(
