E.L.F. Cream Eyeliner in Black

Okay so here is a post I've been meaning to get to for awhile now. I have heard a lot about the E.L.F. Cream eyeliner being really nice and making lining the upper lash line much easier and I'm here to tell you guys how it worked out for me.

I love the look of winged liner but I'm horrible at pulling it off. This product made it a lot easier to do but sadly I still suck at it. I'd say you have a bit more control over how this goes on compared to a liquid liner. It's also a lot easier to clean up any mistakes you might make. The brush it comes with is short so if your extra blind like me it makes getting super close to the mirror so you can actually see very easy! It gets extra points with me for being so short. You can achieve a nice line with it too but if your not super blind and don't need a short brush you might prefer using one of your bigger ones.

As for staying power this product defiantly needs a primer underneath it or it needs to be set with shadow. Without primer I found within a couple hours it started to smudge and crease however when I set it with a black eye shadow I no longer had a problem. For extra staying power I would recommend doing both primer and shadow.

This product is very affordable compared to other cream eyeliners on the market and I think for the price you get your moneys worth. I picked this up at Target for $3.00 and it is also available on their website and comes in 10 other colors! E.L.F. is always running specials so you can get free shipping or save some money if you buy other products, I hear they do have very slow international shipping tho so beware.
Have you tried the E.L.F. Cream Eyeliner, what do you think of it?

    1. I haven't had that problem with it but I do swipe it on a tissue with some alcohol between eyes to make sure I get an extra clean line or as clean as my shaky hands can make it ;) lol

  3. I've never used creamed eyeliner before. I love a good dramatic eye, but I'm not very good at pulling it off myself! I might just have to do some experimenting! :)

  6. I love cream eyeliners! My go-to has always been MAC Fluidline.. it never smudges on me at all! This ELF one looks like a nice alternative though.. and it's much cheaper! But the wear time doesn't sound as great :( Thanks for the review!
