The Blind Bat and The Sales Associate
Before I went in I called ahead and told the associate what was going on and that I wanted to see the doctor he says sure no problem just come on in even tho I wanted to make an appointment. I take his word for it and go in as a walk in anyway and low and behold it's a busy Sunday and I can't see the doctor till 4, it was 1:30.... So much for not needing an appointment. Two and half hours later I get in to see the doctor and she confirms that my left eye has gotten a bit worse and writes up the script to adjust it.
Now comes the part where I get very annoyed and this is going to be a rant because I still really can't believe how horrible this sales associate lady was.
Let me set the scene for you there are 2 sales associates on the floor and there are no customers at this point besides me. There are also some lab techs and of course the eye doctor. The eye doctor asks SA #1 that is up at the desk if he can enter in my info and get my new lens ordered, he replies that he is clocked out and waiting for SA#3 who is not in the store to bring back food for him. Okay no problem so she goes over to the lady SA#2 who is the only clocked in SA on the floor. Now this lady is incredibly ditsy and unprofessional and starts to argue with the eye doctor in front on me. Apparently she is also waiting for food to arrive from SA#3 and wants to eat when it gets here so she doesn't have time to help me. The eye doctor kept her cool and pointed out that SA#2 had already taken her lunch break for the day. Mind you I am not 5 feet away from these two and can hear everything this lady is saying.
She finally agrees to help me so we sit down at one of the tables to go over what I need done. She then starts complaining to me about the eye doctor and about how hungry she is. As she is entering in my info SA#3 the food guy has just arrived and do you know this lady has the nerve to ask me to wait for a "few more mins" while she goes and grabs a bite to eat. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Needless to say I told her if she did that she would be processing a full refund when she came back instead of placing an order for a new lens.
Sorry for the long rant but that has really been getting to me lately!
