The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil

Purchased By Me
Looking back at this picture I probably should have cropped it more but i liked the way the bottle reflected in the wood is that weird? In case your wondering about the lack of posts as of recently well I'm still feeling a bit burned out and I've been trading on Little Black Bag this past week... I know bad blogger but what'll ya do?!

Anyway lets get into this review I've been using this tea tree oil for spot treatments on my most problem areas so in other words my forehead and chin. If your not familiar with tea tree oil it is great for helping clear up problem skin because it has antibacterial properties. It can be a little harsh so if your sensitive I would use products with tea tree sparingly or not at all. I like to dab this directly onto problem spots at night and I find that it does a nice job of helping clear them up.

However if you use it to often or use too much you'll end up with dry patches in those spots. On their website it says that it doesn't dry out skin but that is not true at all, it will indeed dry out your skin if you use to much or again if your super sensitive.

Overall I do really like this product and the price is very reasonable only $9.00 for 0.33 fl oz. A little of this goes a long way so you don't need a whole lot anyway this bottle has lasted me at least 2 months now and there is still about a quarter left in it. When using tea tree products I find it's also important to note the % of tea tree that it actually contains this one is listed as 15%. For a spot treatment that's pretty good now if it was a face wash I would say it was a bit concentrated, so just be aware of that if your ever in the market for tea tree products.

You can find this product online and in stores at The Body Shop.
