Sonia Kashuk Spoolie

Purchased By Me

Have I told you guys how much I love this little spoolie? I don't think I have quite yet and until recently I hadn't realized just how handy this little tool can be. Now you may be wondering what the heck is a spoolie? Pretty much it's just a clean mascara wand. You can DIY this yourself  buy washing one of your fave mascara wands when your done with your tube or if it's more convenient for you you can pick one up for around $3 bucks like I did!
This little tool is great for separating your lashes and combing out any clumps that you may have after your mascara is dry. If it's extra volume your looking for give it a go when the mascara is wet to help keep the curled shape.

The best thing about these is that you can wash them and re use them time and time again. Wash them just like you would any other brush a bit of soap and water and they are good to go!

I really like this Sonia Kashuk one I found at Target, it's affordable and it gets the job done very well. I have been tempted to DIY one myself too since I quite like brushes that are a bit more dense than this one but I just haven't had the time to yet.

You can find this spoolie at Target for around $3 dollars in the Sonia Kashuk section!

Do you have a spoolie?

  1. I happen to like my new spoolie too! :) Some nice blogger buddy gifted me one, haha. I wonder what else you could do with it? We should think up some ideas!

  3. Cool Ashley! I saw this on Brittany's review for suburbchicblog., that you sent to her. I am assuming this is a Target item. I think I might have to mowzie on over to target to cop one. I use the disposable kind.
