Travalo Refillable Perfume Atomizer

Purchased By Me
It has been awhile since I did an actual product review here on the blog and that is something I’m going to be getting back into since that was why I started this blog in the first place. As some of you may recall last year I went back to Michigan to spend some time with my family and I picked up a bunch of travel related products to bring with me since you can’t bring anything over 3 oz. on your carry on. Enter the Travalo refillable perfume spray bottle!
I don’t know about you guys but I like to tailor my perfume to my mood and I have a pretty extensive collection of fragrance (which recently just got overhauled because it was out of control!) Since I couldn't take all of the perfume with me I settled for filling these two Travalo’s up with my two favorites. I also had a various collection of perfume samples just in case those weren't enough…

The good about this product is that it is very easy to fill and virtually mess free, unless you like me overfill the thing and get it all over your hands. So that was a bad on my part not the product but I will say it is kind of hard to know when to stop even with the clear window indicating the fill level looks can be deceiving! Once I got passed my overfilling issue I had no leaking problems from this product, which is great considering it’s the perfect size for your handbag.

The bad about this product was that sometimes when sprayed it would squirt instead of mist. I don’t know about you guys but I hate it when that happens. I would say this happened about 50% of the time and because of this you do not get the number of sprays it advertises, something like 65. I’d say you get about 35 sprays, which I found was still very good for traveling. I experienced this problem with both of my Travalo’s so I don’t think it was just that I had a defective one.

I did find these highly useful for travel and even though they do have their quirks I would purchase more, mainly because I know they don’t leak and that’s pretty important to me. I bought mine from a seller on Amazon for about $10 each but you can find them at many other online and brick and mortar retailers.

  1. When I bought my last perfume the guy gave me one of these for free. I don't think I would of bought it, but after using it I really like it. It's a lot better then carrying around a glass bottle.

    1. When I first saw it on YT I wasn't all that into but then when I started getting ready for my trip I thought to myself what a great idea since I can't take all my fave perfumes. Agreed much better than carrying the glass bottles I'm always worried I'm going to break them!

  3. I am so glad you reviewed this product Ashely. I saw someone on youtube with this product. I almost brought one from Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago. My major concern is leakage. I ruined a Coach bag years ago with a cologne bottle while traveling. I don't mind the squirt at all. I can spay on legs and arms. I am actually taking my daughter to Bermuda for her birthday this summer. One or two would come in handy. What I actually do now is pack samples that I get from Sephora with me when I travel.
