The Body Shop Deep Cleansing Facial Wash

Purchased By Me

Over the last few months I've been in search of a new skin care line that could handle all of my skin's needs. I've had to switch to an oily/combination skin product line because my skin was not only oily but breaking out like crazy. After testing this product out for almost three months I think I have found the winner!

This is the Deep Cleansing Facial Wash from The Body Shop's Seaweed skincare line which is targeted for oily and combination skin types. I use this wash morning and night sometimes supplementing it at night for another product from the line that I'll be telling you guys about soon.

I really like this product because it does what it promises it helps my skin to stay oil free throughout the day and helps with the breakouts. It comes out in a thick almost sticky gel but once activated with a bit of water it glides smoothly onto the skin. This product has a tiny bit of suds to it and is gentle enough to get the job done without drying out your skin. I never feel like I have a tight mask on my face after I use this my skin is soft and refreshed.

I keep one in my shower and one on my bathroom counter that way I have no excuse not to use it day and night. I'm really bad when it comes to washing my face if my wash is somewhere other than where I need it to be (yes I can be lazy especially after a long day!). This has menthol in it and that's one of my favorite things about this product when I use it in the shower you can really feel the menthol cooling and going to work, it will wake you right up!

If your on the hunt for a new skincare line I suggest you check out the Seaweed Line from The Body Shop. I will also be reviewing the other products from this line in the upcoming weeks so keep a look out for those!

This product retails for $13.00 for 3.3 fl oz and can usually be bought on sale for a bit cheaper, The Body Shop is always having tons of sales my favorite being 3 for $30 so you can stock up on things you need. This bottle can last at least 3 months I still have about a quarter left in my first one.

If your interested in this line be sure to check out my review of the Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion with SPF 15!

  2. I was wondering about this stuff! I use the tea tree one and love it but was wanting to try this one as well. I'm gonna give it a try :)

  3. Thanks! I've been debating with myself on whether to start off with the Seaweed or the Tea Tree Oil line and you've convinced me to do the first! Thanks for the great post!

  4. I am definitely going to have to try this! My current face wash makes my face a bit TOO dry.
