The Body Shop Ginger Scalp Care Shampoo

Purchased By Me

Eight days into February and I haven't posted a single thing it's kind of unheard of for me. I've just been quite preoccupied with some things but lets not dwell on that, it's time to get back into blog mode!

I've been using this shampoo for around 3 months now and I have to say it truly is a scalp savior! I had tried a bunch of other scalp shampoos and hated them (Head and Shoulders being the worst). No one really wants to admit that they have a itchy, flaky scalp but it's a very common problem and can really effect how your hair grows. Before addressing my scalp issues I would find myself constantly being itchy and flaky. Now I no longer have to worry about having an itchy flaky scalp. I honestly think that when I was using Head and Shoulders that it was making my hair fall out so much more than anything I had ever tried, so I'm really glad to have found this product to do the job without any of the harsh ingredients.
I was a little hesitant to go with this shampoo because I don't really care for anything ginger scented but don't let that scare you away. The ginger scent of this shampoo is very light and doesn't leave any lingering scent on your hair once it's been rinsed out. Even when your washing your hair with it in the shower you can only faintly smell the ginger, so it's very tolerable. Once I've conditioned my hair I can't smell it at all and I'm left with the yummy scent of my conditioner.

This leaves your hair feeling clean but not stripped thanks to the moisturizing honey it contains.  I don't have trouble getting my hands threw my hair after washing with this. When I first started using this I used it every time I washed my hair and saw results within a month. I like to use this at least twice a week now that my scalp is under control.

If you have scalp concerns this is a product I would suggest checking out because it will do your hair a whole lot of good! You can find this product at The Body Shop online and in stores retailing for $10.00 for 8.4 fl oz or $14.00 for 13.5 fl oz (shown here).
